Botox for Shady Acres Residents

Shady Acres neighbors, you are the closest of anyone. MV is at 24th and Shepherd in 77008 - the same zip as a big chunk of Shady Acres - which puts most of you about 3 minutes away. Basically next door. Some of my Shady Acres patients practically walk in. Quick visit, then home.

Quick honest note first. Everybody types "Botox" into the search bar, so that is the word on the page - but I do not carry Botox-brand. I use Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) and Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA). Same class as Botox, same general mechanism, just different brands I chose to carry. When a neighbor books "Botox," this is what they actually get.

What these treat

Neuromodulators relax the muscles that crease the skin when you make expressions. The FDA-approved areas are all in the upper face: the glabellar 11s between the brows, the forehead, and crow's feet beside the eyes. That is where most people begin.

Other requests - lip flips, masseter, chin - we go over clinically at your appointment, since they sit outside the on-label upper-face uses. I will be straight with you about what tends to work and what does not.

How fast, how long

You will not see it right away. Softening usually starts at 3 to 7 days and settles by around two weeks. For most patients the effect holds about 3 to 4 months - a range, not a guarantee. Some faces clear it faster, some slower. We figure out your number over a couple of cycles.

Why being next door is a real perk

I bring new patients back at about two weeks to see the settled result and adjust if anything needs it. For Shady Acres that follow-up is almost nothing - you are three minutes away. Being this close means dialing in your dose costs you a quick visit, not a planned outing, and that makes the whole process easier to keep up.

The same injector every visit

You see me, Jillian Caldwell, PA-C, each time you come in. I keep track of how your face responded last round so we build on it instead of resetting. Danna Qunibi, MD, is our medical director overseeing the practice. (Clinical aside: with neighbors who can pop in easily, I sometimes start a touch conservative and have them swing back if they want a bit more - low cost to them, and we avoid overdoing it.)

Free covered parking

Even three minutes away, parking is covered and free under the building. Pull in, elevator up to Suite 229, done. No charge, no hunting for a spot.

What a first visit looks like

Before any needle, we talk. I look at your face still and moving - where you crease, how your brows sit, what you actually want softened. Then I lay out a conservative plan. The injections are fast. With neighbors who can swing back in minutes, I often start a little low on purpose and let you decide if you want more, because it is easy to add and you cannot rush an over-treated result back down.

Some bruising is possible at any injection site - usually small and easy to cover. I will tell you what to skip beforehand. This is a real medical treatment with real, if minor, downsides, and being three minutes away does not change that part - I will give you the honest version.

A Shady Acres note

Of all the neighborhoods we serve, Shady Acres is the one where I genuinely mean "walk-in close." You can knock out a quick appointment on a weekday and barely notice the trip. That convenience is the whole pitch here - good treatment, almost no travel. Same zip, same few blocks, and you are back home before anyone wonders where you went.
